What is the meaning of the Name Yahusha?

Two Hebrew words: Yahuah (the Name of the Father) + Yasha (saves) = Yahusha

Yasha is the Hebrew Strong’s word H3467

A primitive root; properly to be openwide or free, that is, (by implication) to be safe; causatively to free or succor: –  X at all, avenging, defend, deliver (-er), help, preserve, rescue, be safe, bring (having) salvation, save (-iour), get victory.

Total KJV occurrences: 205

Yahusha means, “Yahuah saves,” “Yahuah is salvation,” or “Yahuah delivers.”

‘And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (Yahuah) shall be saved.

Acts 2:21

For “everyone who calls on the Name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 shall be saved

Romans 10:13

“And she shall give birth to a Son, and you shall call His Name 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 for He shall save His people from their sins.”

MathathYahu 1:21

Why can’t I just call the Mashiyach J-e-s-u-s?

Answer: Jesus is not a translation of Yahusha. Keep in mind that names are transliterated, not translated.

There is only one Name for all mankind that we can call on to be saved. There can only be one Name per scripture.

“And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other Name under the heaven given among men by which we need to be saved.”

Acts 4:12

I have come in My Father’s Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive.

Yahuchanan 5:43

And Alahiym said further to Mashah, “Thus you are to say to the children of Yashara’Al, ‘ 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (Yahuah) Alahiym of your fathers, the Alahiym of Abraham, the Alahiym of Yatschaq, and the Alahiym of Ya’auqab, has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations.’

Shamuth (Exo) 3:15

How does the name jesus connect to the Hebrew language?

Answer: It doesn’t

Try to spell the name jesus using the Hebrew (Aubariy) Alaph Biyth (alphabet) below:

  • the first row is the pictograph form of the Hebrew alaph biyth letters
  • the second row is the qadam or paleo form of the Hebrew letters
  • the third row shows the sounds of each letter

Were you able to spell jesus using the Hebrew language?

  • there’s no ‘j’ sound
  • there’s no ‘e’ sound

As you can see, it is impossible to spell or speak the name Jesus in Hebrew. The letter “j” is roughly 500 years old. Therefore, Jesus can’t be the name of the true Mashiyach, who walked the earth over 2,000 years ago and now sits at the right hand of the Father in the shamahiym (heavens).

It’s impossible! Proving the name jesus to be false.

Yahusha and the Prophets warned us about jesus

“I have come in My Father’s Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive.

Yahuchanan 5:43

And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon

Chazun (Rev) 13:11

*The dragon is Ha’Shatan (Satan) per Chazun (Rev) 12:9; 20:2.

Let’s compare the teachings of Yahusha with the teachings of Jesus. Which of these two speaks like a dragon (Shatan)?
